Summer Employment on Block Island!

Each year, Block Island businesses hire hundreds of summer employees. Jobs available range from kitchen and wait staff to housekeeping, maintenance, sales staff, and marina dock staff. Staff housing is available at a few of the larger hotels, but employee housing is the exception rather than the rule. Jobs are much more numerous than places to stay... We hope you will also consider volunteering some of your free time to help out Environmental Organizations such as the Nature Conservancy or the Committe for the Great Salt Pond.

For best results, contact a number of prospective employers, send them your qualifications, and plan to come out for a weekend in early May to interview and look for a place to stay.
