They met on match.com, but it was their first trip away together to Block Island that solidified the relationship for this couple from western Massachusetts. 

“I brought Pete [Peter Houser, 31] to the island for his birthday a few years back after a couple months of dating,” says Jessica Petit, 29, “and we really connected there. We loved the different environments; beach to farm.” 

For their wedding on June 14, she and Peter found that perfect combo with a marriage ceremony on Mansion Beach followed by a reception for 60 at the Rose Farm Inn. “We feel like we had the best of both worlds,” says Jessica.

Their advice for others planning a wedding on Block Island:

 Use Catering by Kimberly. The food is out of this world! Our entire menu was made custom to what we wanted and everything was beyond fabulous.
